SHAH ALAM, 2 dic. - Un sindicato de compraventa de divisas, que malversó unos US $ 8 millones (RM33.8 millones) de un ciudadano chino, fue paralizado por la policía después de redadas en dos localidades separadas en el valle de Klang a primeras horas de la mañana del domingo.
El sindicato, que había estado bajo vigilancia policial desde principios de noviembre, fue frustrado luego de un informe presentado por la mujer china de 27 años que fue víctima de la estafa.
El subdirector comercial de Bukit Aman, Datuk Hamza Taib, dijo que los dos sospechosos, un graduado de Oxford de 50 años y un ex remisier de 34 años, fueron capturados en un condominio en Bukit Ceylon y en el estacionamiento de un centro comercial.
